daring vigorous stout devoted to her service as a miko Tamako is a miko (a Japanese priestess) who posesses (apart from the regular unicorn power) a special kind of spiritual power, which enables her to see many things that others can't see. She can fight with demons using her purifying power, concentrated in the prayer beads on her neck. She is a fierce opponent when she believes that she's fighting in the right matter. Her cutiemark resembles balance (check balance in kanji on Google if you're interested) like her sister, she uses Japanese name suffixes (-chan, -san, -sama etc.) Tamako would do anything to help her sister. She once tried to seal Kazenmaru in her beads, but she realised just in time that it would kill Mizuko. Now she spends most of the time practising her miko skills and searching a way to release her sister from the demon
